Let's face it, women have it rough. We are expected to do our hair and makeup everyday! But what if I can share my routine that takes less than 5 minutes (but this video took 7 mins due to my chit chat)? I would be helping women everywhere!
Here is what I use: Tarte Rainforest from the Sean Water Foundation in Light-medium Neutral Tarte Tartelete in Bloom palette Urban Decay setting spray Tarte Pro Glow To Go Maybelline Mascara Mongo Kiss Chapstick Then top off with some gloss! We tried "Paint your own Pottery" and we loved it!! We went to RAM Art Studio www.createwithram.com located at:
6054 N Broadway Chicago IL Hours are 11A - 7p Costs varies based on the pottery you pick out but it ranges from $12 - $59. Supplies, help, and studio time are part of the ceramic costs! It is BYOB! Super fun with a group of friends. Time: Usually takes 1.5 hours, but it took us 4.5 hours. So long, but so fun. Time just flew by chatting, painting, drinking and listening to music. Overall, a 5 star rating! There was a great selection of ceramics to choose from, assistance from the people there at the studio, not very spendy, and so much fun! See ya next Tuesday! This Apple Crisp is gluten free, and dairy free! It could be considered vegan since there are no eggs too! YAY! Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 30 minutes or until golden brown 5 apples (any kind! I use Apple crisp) 2 tsp of lemon juice 1 tbspn of vanilla extract 1 tbspn of cinnamon 1/2 tspn of nutmeg 1/2 cp of sugar 2 cups of almond flour 1/2 cup of coconut oil 1 cup of chopped pecans Preheat oven! Toss the peeled and chopped apples in lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. Spread the apples in the glass baking dish. Combine almond meal, pecans, cinnamon, and melted coconut oil. Then spread this mixture over the apples. Cover with foil, and bake for 20 mins. Uncover, and bake for another 10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Enjoy! See ya next Tuesday! RAM Twitter: @RandomAccessMeg Instagram: @RandomAccessMeghann SoundCloud: @RandomAccessMeghann Since we are prepping to remodel our guest bathroom, I decided to document the initial stages which are prep and research.
1. I am going to measure and document the measurements of the bathroom. All the walls, sections, and ceilings. You may think the ceiling heigh is silly, but sometimes, the floors/ceilings are uneven. 2. Decide on themes to research. For example, modern, contemporary, color palette, etc. 3. Make accounts on Houzz, Pinterest, and a design studio. This will give you an idea on what to expect and visualize. 4. Make a budget. 5. Plan to visit the Tile Shop or where you will buy the tile. We plan around holidays because they have sales that are not advertised: Veterans day, New Years, Presidents Day, etc. 6. Plan to visit Studio 41, where you will find the rest of the items like: vanity, countertop, sink, facet, etc. The orders take about 1-2 months to ship and deliver. 7. Plan lighting, we will most likely go to Lightology. 8. Plan for other items that will cost money: labor, tools, dry wall, paint, etc. See ya next Tuesday!
